10 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DREAMS
When I'm referring to 'dream' in this context, I don't mean the imaginary events seen in the mind while sleeping. I'm talking about 'a visionary scheme, a hope or a wish'.
Several people have said different things about 'dreams'. The most popular is 'dream big' but in this article, I'll be exposing you to 10 important things you need to know about dreams.
HERE THEY COME:
1. A dream is not what you see when you are asleep but what keeps you awake! Your dream gets you busy. It sets you on motion!
2. The level to which you dream is the level to which you achieve. I choose to dream big. What about you?
3. The bigger your dreams, the more your challenges. So, get ready!
4. There are dream helpers just as there are dream killers! They may take the form of humans or the unseen.
By saying the unseen, I mean several bad attitudes you possess or bad opinions/advice received from others. It could also come in form of 'discouragements'. So take note of these things.
5. The more focused you are, the higher your chances of achieving your dreams!
6. Good dreamers are optimistic and highly positive people! They constantly tell themselves 'it's possible' even when no one tells them or sees them.
7. Dreamers who finally achieve their goals are WINNERS! But do you know the secret? Quitters never win, Winners never quit! Don't give up!
8. At some point where it appears very tough, you'll need 'Motivation'.
Definitely, the most important of them all is Self motivation. You just must find your driving factor. It is what keeps you going. You can also seek motivation from optimistic friends, motivational quotes, speakers and videos. Just don't stop moving on!
9. Don't copy other people's dreams. Only learn from them. They've made their stories heard. Make yours too!
Live your life, not another man's life. Remember, it's your dream and not theirs!
10. Whatever your dream(s) maybe, channel it to the right course.
Let it be based on helping others, touching lives positively and making our world a better place.
That way, it becomes a purposeful dream! Together, we can do this!
