THE SOLUTION





In the midst of disappointment
I was drowning in a pool of negative thoughts
Loosing hope on great achievements
All I could feel was pain and hurts
 



How I wish I was lost in the deep sea
Far away from the mockers’ eyes that see
All because of this problem
That is proving to be an emblem





At this point,
I feel it’s over
It’s not worth spraining my joint
Nor using a Range rover





I have made efforts
It seems to only go down the drain
Tried things of all sorts
Nothing but clouds without rain

 
Oh! What a mistake!
A big mistake to have looked just down
Seeking self-help that turned out fake
Failing to follow what was written on Joan’s white gown


It read ‘look up’
Then I got the solution
It was one that cheered me up
Leaving no room for further depression


“All you do is sit and complain
Stop that! Look unto God to attain
He will surely sustain you
To conquer the mountain”






THE SOLUTION lies in the last stanza!

You looked down and got nothing but poor results!
You’ve looked down enough!







It’s time to LOOK UP (LOOK UNTO GOD)!
