THE BEAUTY IN TAKING PICTURES

 




Pictures! Pictures!! Pictures!!!
You don't have to be a professional photographer to be involved in pictures taking. It was only in historical times that that happened. The case is different now.



 Science and technology has made it much more to easier to take pictures by including cameras in several smart phones among other technological gadgets. Even a 3-year old child in today's world can take pictures.

     The height pictures taking has ascended is one of the major reasons why I've decided to write an article such as this.  Here, we'll be looking at several ways by which pictures are important to the modern world.

Pictures are so important to the extent that social media would be 'boring' without them. Do you think there would be anything called 'Instagram' if pictures taking never existed?




Pictures add beauty and color to several online platforms like websites, social media platforms, blogs among others. This is just one of the reasons.

Others include:
• It refreshes your memory. 

       Every gallery or photo album is a collection of several memories. This is 100% true. It reminds you of certain events that took place in your life in the past. Scanning through pictures of holding a cake reminds you of your previous birthday.




It is for this reason that taking pictures is inevitable in a lot of events like Birthday celebrations, wedding ceremonies, inauguration events, book launches, Red carpet shows, Fashion events, Matriculations & Convocations ceremonies among others.







Apart from the above, there can be no 'throwback pictures' if we had failed to take pictures in the past. Here are some throwback pictures:








• Pictures capture specific moments.


   Every picture captures a particular moment that is usually irreversible i.e cannot be brought back. Although this can be linked with 'point 1', I've chosen to make them separate because on a closer look, they are different. It is to this effect I'll like you to see some 'back then' pictures comparing them to recent times.

















•  It's fun.



Yes! it's fun taking pictures especially in the midst of your friends. Taking pictures and some times editing them is one of the ways to break the boredom. You don't have to be a photo freak to experience this.


• It solidifies evidences




You'll be curious to know what else a thief say or the excuses he or she would give after being shown a picture of him or her committing the act of theft. He or she will most likely be dumbfounded.



       Also, It is due to the discovered importance in taking pictures that the media have been able to come up with what is called 'The Eye Witness Platform' where viewers can share photos of certain situations.





• It helps to explain certain ideas.
Some pictures just explain your ideas and feelings very well even much more than your words can.

   With the above mentioned reasons, pictures are indeed unique and important!

PAUSE AND THINK (Vol.2): BEFORE SAYING THOSE WORDS!

I’m sure you were able to pick one or two things from the previous volume, ‘pause and think before pointing that finger’. This volume promises not to be an exception as we’ll be looking at something very critical. Critical because we are all involved and connected with this subject. We use it every day of our lives!
